Solid-State Hydrogen Storage

Metal Hydride Storage Systems

HyperCellX solid-state modules store hydrogen in reversible metal-hydride alloys, enabling storage without mechanical compression. Systems operate near ambient temperature and provide high volumetric hydrogen density comparable to liquid storage without liquefaction. These systems provide an inherently safe method of hydrogen storage.

The modular architecture scales from single small vessels to systems exceeding 500 kg of hydrogen capacity. All vessels are pressure-tested and helium leak-tested, include integrated pressure relief, and support optional thermal management to control charging and discharge kinetics.

All modules are engineered and manufactured in Colorado Springs, USA, and are deployed in space, mobility, stationary, and drone hydrogen applications.
