Temperature Swing Adsorption
TSA Gas Drying Systems
HyperCellX TSA systems are engineered for deep moisture removal following catalytic purification stages. Adsorption beds are sized using internal engineering software incorporating isotherms, kinetics, mass and energy balances, and regeneration modeling developed from published literature, test data, and operating experience.
The system operates in a closed-loop regeneration configuration with no continuous product losses. Thermal management is integrated through controlled heating and cooling cycles using engineered heaters and heat exchangers to ensure repeatable adsorption capacity and stable bed performance.
Packed beds are supplied prefilled and ready for operation, with pressure drop optimized to maintain optimal flow distribution. Systems support 10% turndown capability and continuous full-duty operation.
These systems are engineered for Class I, Division 2 environments and integrate PLC based control with local HMI and Modbus communication for SCADA integration. ASME-certified vessels are provided when required.
All systems are engineered, designed, and manufactured in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Deoxo & Dehydro Systems
Catalytic Oxygen / Hydrogen Removal
HyperCellX Deoxo and Dehydro systems remove residual oxygen or hydrogen through catalytic recombination. The inlet gas is preheated to promote complete reaction, and the catalyst bed is designed with a pressure drop to prevent channeling.
The architecture integrates heat exchangers, water demisting, condensate drainage, and downstream particulate filtration to protect subsequent equipment. Systems support 10% turndown capability and continuous full-duty operation in a closed-loop configuration with losses limited to reacting species.
Units are engineered for Class I, Division 2 environments and include integrated oxygen or hydrogen analysis with dew point monitoring downstream of the TSA stage. Standard configurations achieve less than 5 ppm O2, with systems configurable to less than 1 ppm.
ASME-certified pressure vessels are provided when required. All systems are engineered, designed, and manufactured in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Water Purification
Process Water Treatment Systems
HyperCellX water purification systems are engineered to supply treated water for hydrogen production and auxiliary plant processes. Systems are configured based on inlet water quality and required outlet specifications, incorporating staged filtration, carbon treatment, reverse osmosis, and deionization as required.
Architectures are designed to control total dissolved solids, silica, hardness, organics, and particulate content to meet electrolyzer and downstream equipment requirements. Integrated pumps, storage, and instrumentation are selected and sized per application to ensure stable flow, pressure control, and consistent water quality.
Control integration supports PLC-based automation and plant level communication when required.
All systems are engineered, designed, and manufactured in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Purification FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Systems can be configured to achieve less than 1 ppm residual oxygen. Standard configurations achieve less than 5 ppm O2.
HyperCellX purification systems operate downstream of alkaline, PEM, AEM, and other hydrogen generation technologies. Standard configurations deliver hydrogen with less than 5 ppm O2 and less than 5 ppm H2O at the system outlet, consistent with ISO 14687 Type I, Grade D fuel-cell hydrogen quality.
Yes. Regeneration is performed in a closed loop configuration that eliminates hydrogen loss and reduces operating cost compared to open regeneration designs.
